Hey, I'm Jessica or Jess. I've been on 3 cruises and going on my 4th in december. I'm 15 and live in Latrobe Pa. Other than my love for crusing, I volunteer and swim on an aqua club. Look foward to getting to know other teens who love going on cruises.

You'll find that we're a fairly tight-knit bunch here so feel free to ask questions you have about your trip, or just share what's going on. I'm Ryan, the "encyclopedia" of the site with my cruise history writing it's pages. Soon you'll meet Mike, our Teen Host for cruisemates (and a good friend of mine) who is the driver of the welcome wagon and a wealth of information as well.

And as Ryan mentioned previously, I am teen host, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Like yourself, I'm also from Pennsylvania (Philly suburbs though), but I'm currently in Florida for school. Anyways, you definitely found the right place for teens with a love for cruising. I think you'll come to find we are all cruise crazy.

Anyways, like I said before, if you have any questions about the site, cruises, or anything in general, feel free to post/message/ask. There are a lot of us here with plenty of experience, and we're all a tight knit bunch, so any and/or all of us will be glad to help.

Hey Ryan. I've been on Ncl Dawn, Ncl Spirit, and Ncl Jewel. This year were not sure yet, thinking of trying the Carnival Dream or Freedom of the Seas. But its not a done deal. My parents are still working out the pros and cons to both of them, and the cost too.

Given the choice- I'd absolutely choose the Freedom. It has so many pros- it's more like the experience you're used to on NCL, it has much more to do onboard for teens than the Dream, it's priced much more competitively, and it's larger as well. The Dream will be a fun ship and good value in a year or so when things settle down and the rates come down. I couldn't justify spending the kind of money Carnival expects for a cabin on the Dream when in reality it's not comparable to similar ships of comparable size and passenger demographic.

Anyway, I digress. Welcome again and I'll stop hijacking the welcome wagon.

hey nicole! welcome to cruisemates! congrats on your 9th cruise so your definitely not new to the cruising thing but i live in alabama as well

i know the feeling though it definitely sucks but not so bad anymore because we have a ship that i can see often. i live in mobile so everytime the carnival fantasy is in port and i want to get a small ship fix i watch it sail away

heyy, i saw that youve been on the carnival liberty, i was wondering about the cruise. its going to be my 2nd cruise, my last one was on princess to alaska, but im wondering about whats going to be on the carnival legend. (:
whats fun to do there?
and also, is it worth going on the legend or would another carnival ship be better?

hey, i'm cait. i'm sixteen years old and i'm from the uk. i'm going on my first cruise in july on the grand princess around the med. i'm pretty excited as all my gcse exams will be over by then so i can finally relax!! anyone been on the grand princess or about to go?

Mobile? Niiice, I live in Birmingham. Yes I definitely am not new to cruising, I'm going on my tenth one this Sunday (I only remember to come on here when I am a week before my next cruise) if I lived in Mobile- I'd alwaysss go on cruises haha.
