Favorite Cruise Line

Hey all..

I was just wondering what everyone's favorite cruise line is and why! you can vote for your favorite and then post why!

I picked Royal Carribean.


They just seem to have the all around product. They offer great service, food, and entertainment. They have the perfect ships for teens, they have activities from rock walls to Johnny rockets 50's diner. It is nearly impossible to be bored on a RCCL ship.

I pick Royal Caribbean. I love their food and always seem to make lasting friendships on my cruises. I also think there ships are the most fun!

well i had to vote for Holland America...theyre totally my favorite. theres usually less teens which i like so i can get to know everyone better. their food is amazing..and desserts!!!! ahh the dessert!!!! HEAVEN! the teen program wasnt that great...but i cant wait to get into their new program! they have a awesome new teen room! yay! but ill let y'all know how it is once i get back from my next cruise. and their stateroom are much larger than any other cruise line ive been on. thats always good. mayeb cuz im treated like a princess on the line? idk. its just made a lasting impression on me as the best.

because there teen clubs are the nicest and also my Dad is friends with the Head Captain of Princess cruises and he has the crew treat us like royalty like everynite we sit at the captains table its sweet

well i've been on NCL, Costa, royal caribbean, and carnvial.

i didn't pick NCL because i don't like the freestyle-ness of it. i like having the same waiter every night and getting to know them.

i didn't pick royal caribbean because i hate the curfew deal.

but i say a tie between carnival and costa.
i like carnival because they focus a lot on having fun and they have good food. and it's just a good time. and they have a lot of stuff for teens to do. plus the sushi bar every night was amazingggg =]

and costa because they have great food (i love the gelotto, sp?, every night). i'm italian so i gotta love it. there's a lot of international people on it which i think is cool. cuz i meet a lot of people from different countries. they didn't have the best teen program, and there weren't a lot of teens, but they didn't make a big deal about us. they don't check your age for the groups (i was 11 and went in the teen group..) you can stay out as long as you want. they don't kick you out of the disco. and the ones i've been on, it's mostly teens all night. they pour you champagne at dinner. you dance at dinner like every night. and the shows are good.

but yeaaaa.. there you go =]

Carnival All the friggin way!
The slide is awsome and the staff is friendly + the food is great. The ships are laid out well also!

i would love to go on a Costa to experience the culture onboard! it would be ALMOST like going to Italy! lol ive never had gelatto....would love to try it though!!

yesss in 2003. on my meditranian (def spelled that wrong).
it was sooo much fun. i want to go back! my dads 100% italian so he wants to go back asap

are there a lot of teens on mediterranean cruises? my parents keep pushing me and my sister to go on one, but i can't imagine going on a cruise that doesn't lead to a beach if you know what i mean..

I chose carnival but i have to give credit to both CCL and RCI in certain places:

Carnival:
~ The Club O2 Program is much nicer than Adventure Ocean o RCI
~ Carnival's Club O2 Facilities are located in a more "adult" area
~ The Staff on Carnival's ships tends to be more hospitable
~ Carnival has a wider variety of ports to chose from including some exclusives

Royal Caribbean:
~ RCI's Sail away party and Deck Party are much more exciting
~ RCI's ships are larger and more elegant
~ The Teen Clubs (Fuel and Optix) are usually bigget on RCI
~ RCI is on the forefront of new ships and technology

I have to disagree there, the staff on my CCL cruise were by far worse then when my RCI cruise. That being said, the staff on your cruise changes weekly, so you can never be guarnteed with good staff.

Yea thats true, i mean the staff doesnt change every week but generally you get a new staff on each cruise you go on. The only thing is that, i'm pretty sure Carnival allows their staff to use the same facilities as the guests when theyre off i.e the bars everything except the casino and clubs. But hey i've had great RCI cruises and Crappy Carnivals and vice versa so its just how the cookie crumbles!
