As long as your signature didn't have a hyper link in it, should work. Have you gone into your profile and checked that there is a signature in it and has the box checked to show it with each post?
Signatures do not display until 20 posts. This was implemented because of people putting advertising in their signatures and then doing a ten post spam.
Once you hit 20 posts your signature will appear.
