Cozumel Dolphinaris V Chankanaab park

Hi,

looking to do a dolphin swim while we are in Cozumel.
I was going to book this excursion via the ship but as my hubby just wants to watch and not participate I didn't want to pay full price for a trip for him. So being new to cruises-------

How easy is it to pick up a taxi from the pier and any tips?
Which place Dolphinaris or Chankanaab park would you recommend?
Can you easily walk out of each place and get a taxi back to port?
Approx cost?

At Chanakaab Park your husband can watch from the pier while you do the swim. They will also be making a video of your swim to purchase afterwards, they are pricey, but may or may not be worth it to you?

Its very easy to get a cab over there from the pier and cabs are there waiting to take you back when you are finished.

There is also a huge beach area and good snorkeling, you may want to hang out there for a few hours, very pretty place.

I have great things about Chanakaab Park's dolphin experience ( would it be safe to do on our own? I read recently a person's review about Dolphinaris. Not as crowded as the C Park ...Has anyone been to Dolphinaris and can you tell me about price there.

I booked the Dolphin trainer directly with the Dolphinaris for 179.00 Carnival wanted 250.00 for the same thing.
