Seabourn seems to shy away from the northern asian ports of Beijing, Seoul, Japan, etc. However, Oceania, Regent and others routinely offer cruises in this part of the world every year. These itineraries must be popular to keep offering them.
Can anyone explain why SB shuns these ports?
I did KAGOSHIMA, JAPAN, NAGASAKI, JAPAN, BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA, YEOSU, SOUTH KOREA, INCHEON (SEOUL), SOUTH KOREA, DALIAN, CHINA, XINGANG,CHINA, BEIJING, CHINA, SHANGHAI, CHINA, XIAMEN, CHINA, & HONG KONG, CHINA (sorry for the caps – I cut & pasted) last year on the Pride. (I posted a review on another board.)
It was excellent & from what I have read, I am glad I did it on Seabourn.
