Booked on the Emerald, Southern Caribbean Medley, September 19 - 29! Our 4th Princess Cruise!
Unfortunately can't book any excursions because we are having a vow renewal for our 25th Anniversary and they won't tell us what day it will take place. Very frustrating.
First cruise, deciding what to do in Roatan and Belize and how to get there from the dock. I am turned off by $20 per person cab rides, maybe ship excursions are the way to go. We'll see.

Finally booked a cruise after a dry spell! I'm going on the Diamond Princess 1/27/11 New Zealand to Australia! Something I've always wanted to do on my "cruise to do" list!
I'm not sure what # Princess cruise this is, but I'm still platinum!
This will be our first big ship experience, plus a T/A and 27 days. We've done 3 European river cruises, the Christmas markets on the Danube was memorable. Hoping to hear from others who are making this journey with us, plus tips on shore excursions. This is really a port intensive cruise with the highlight of 2 days in St. Petersburg.
Has anyone done the Bon Voyage lunch? We have close friends in Ft. Lauderdale and it would be fun to re-connect on board. They retired in FL and we retired in New Mexico.

Wow had to scroll back a bit to see what I'd actually said! We ended up cancelling our TA for this May and booking a 17 day Panama Canal instead. Airfare for a TA was crazy from the westcoast.
Next year DH is adamant it's to be a land trip rather than a cruise as he actually wants to "See Places".

Trackypup, any way of maybe doing both?! That would be my vote.
I suggested that, but he seems very happy with the land trip itinerary we've put together. If there had been a 7 day cruise of interest, I might have persuaded him, but with them being 11 or 12 days, it takes a chunk out of a 3 week vacation. I'm not too upset, Amalfi Coast, Provence, St. Paul de Vence and Paris isn't too shabby

No, I don't think you'll be hurting. I know you'll have a good time.
Yeah, pretty sure we will We're tossing around different ideas on the week in Provence, we might end up driving up and around Bavaria and the Rhine for something different. We'll see. Amalfi and Paris are non-negotiable
