I was curious to know if there are bathrobes in the suites. Carnival and Princess have always had bathrobes on the balconey cabins. I hate to take up room packing robes if I don't need to. Can someone explain concierge available. Is this different then just calling the purcer's desk? Thanks
Yes on the bathrobes. I don't want to take mine either.
The concierge can make priority reservations for you in the alternative restaurants (and you can book them for every day on the first day if you'd like); he can get you priority tendering so you can get to your shore excursions; he escorts the first group to leave the ship at disembarkation, as soon as customs clears the ship (or if you don't want to leave that early, you can stay in your suite and leave later in the morning--your choice). Hopefully I haven't missed anything.
We used the concierge to make dinner reservations only (and we changed our minds a few times during the week, without problems).
Cruise more often,
thanks for the info, we will onboard the Dawn on 5/1/05 and hope to use the Concierge to book our dinner arrangements. One quick ?, how late/early can we book our dinner reservations - hubby is picky so I must choose wisely and can I include some friends. Thanks much,
Dalias grandma (so nice to be a grandmother of 2!)
Gosh, Nan, I'm stumped. I just looked at our Freestyle Dailies, and they state "5:30 p.m to Close." I thought they served until 10:00, but now I'm not sure. And I can't believe that the concierge would refuse to book you just because you wanted to include friends who might be in other cabin categories.
