I'm booked on HAL Westerdam 9/21-28/13. Have posted all over looking for a gal to share an OV cabin. I put a thread up here a bit ago. I'm a DWF, who would like to share my cabin w/a great gal who can tolerate a writer w/a sense of humor! How does your match staff go about matching,if at all? I've always cruised w/either my ex or my BFF, but she wants to go to Tunisia and after reading the State Depts warnings, "good luck to her". I'm not even certain I know how to use this site What happened to good old Travel Chums?
Can you give me some insight on just how your people match one w/another?

What is your view with cruise lines including tips in the cruise price being paid in full before the cruise and eleminating the mandatory charge altogether after the cruise?

To fill you in on your question about formall BA Auctions, (Int'l Art Galleries) being on P&O Australia still, the story is the art auction program has been seized due to back log of customer fullfillment issues along with weak sales AD's that do not always match with the enviroment in the aussie market. The Pompano Beach office has closed and moved to a smaller office only and many employess of the Florida location have been laid off. Company is still operating as of now on Celebrity ships only and hopefully International Art Galleries will move forward in these difficult times. I am a formal auction manager from BA Auctions I had resigned end of June this year after returning from the Sydney location. I have no malice against Ira Shore or the Company, but do not feel they have heading into the right direction and unfortunately I not so sure the have the best interest of the employees in mind with the new way.
