Zuiderdam Daily Virtual Cruise with pics - beginning Jan. 12

One week from today we'll be boarding the Z in Fort Lauderdale for our first HAL cruise in several years.

I'll be posting daily reports for CruiseMates, along with pictures (if internet speeds cooperate).

If anyone has any questions about the Z feel free to post them... either before I leave, or during the cruise.

BON VOYAGE! Hope your cruize on the Z is a great one. There are 4 of us from VA who are just containing our excitement over the Blogger's Cruise. Too busy shopping and packing to email. We're packing and can't wait to go. See you on the Freedom.

Kuki I hope you compare it to the Connie-we have considered a cruise on her-we loved the Connie! Just tell us what things are similiar and what is differant about the two ships!

This may sound silly but here goes.
Lemme know if the Z keeps her windows clean.
When we sailed the Ryndam to Alaska in the '90's the public windows were cleaned twice a day. My father mentioned a few times how clear they were.
This time, to Mexico over xmas, we could not help noticing how dirty the windows were, especially in the Lido. Others mentioned it too.
If the sun hit 'em they was no seein'.

I have been the Zuiderdam in the past , its a great ship. You will love it.

I'm looking forward to this report since we're probably going to do HAL for our Panama Canal cruise next year.
