Navigation Deck on Zuiderdam/Oosterdam

We will be travelling on Zuiderdam in a couple of months, in an SS cabin on the Navigation Deck.

Does anyone out there have experience with these? Anyone know how these ships ride in moderate seas, as far as having a cabin so high up?

Thanks for any experiences on this.

We had cabin 8078 on the Oosterdam, Navigation deck, just aft of the midships elevator bank a few rooms. Rode fine. Enjoy. MikeC

We've been on Zuiderdam for four cruises and we found the ship "rode" very well. We were lucky to have calm seas but even still, we thought her great handling the "motion of the ocean".

We were on the Oosterdam on Verandah deck in early October and the ship rode extremely well.
Even one day at sea in the Med with gale-force winds and 15-foot waves we were very comfortable.
Many folks appreciated being on a somewhat larger ship that day!

I'm on the Navigation deck in a back cabin on the 11/15 Z cruise. Let you know when I return. Had similar cabin on Constellation transalantic and it rode fine. The Z is a similar size ship.

How was your aft cabin on Zuiderdam? Thinking of booking one (category A) for February...main concern is the Lido aft pool overhanging on the balcony of the aft cabins. Would like to have some sun! Appreciate any advice. Did you notice that the cabins are dark...and no sun on balcony? Thanks.
