Early flight out of MIA

I know this has been asked a hundred times on various threads, but I can't find it. So here it goes again:

What is the earliest time you would reasonably book a flight out of MIA for a cruise terminating in Miami?

No apologies needed...always new and old posters looking for info I would comfortably say 1.00pm... and if you carry some pepto, 12:00. That;s just me..I always factor in "stuff"

Long lines at security, that's usually is the slowdown culprit.

I personally would not book anything before 12:00 noon. I know people and have read about people who have booked as early as 10:30 a.m. and made it.

These people who booked early did self disembarkation, grabbed taxis and made it by the skin of their teeth. Do teeth have skin?

Thanks guys - I prefer to keep my skin on my teeth (if I have any) and not have to lug off during early self-embark. We have always enjoyed a slow final breakfast in the MDR.

If it's a Sat or Sun I wouldn't try anything before 2pm at MIA (unless you have elite access which helps a tad). You have all the cruise ships from Miami and Ft Laurd dumping all their folks at once. PLUS all the folks coming back from their land vacations in the Caribbean which will have to reclear security. MId week noon should be safe though.
