Hi. My wife and I have been Royal Caribbean cruisers for several years now, doing the Caribbean, but we're thinking of a Disney cruise to Alaska next summer. We have 2 kids, age 12 and 4. Has anyone cruised Disney to Alaska with kids? We know the kids would enjoy a Disney ship, but were there excursions on shore in Alaska that kids would like?
Donna, I do believe either this year or perhaps 2011 was Disney's first try at Alaska.

They would love the tour that takes you on a old time steam engine railroad train, the scenery is fantastic. It then takes you into a old time gold rush camp where you eat and get to pan for gold. Great tour. But like other tours in Alaska, it is not cheap.
Acutally, the Disney Alaska does look good, except for there is no glacier stop, other than Tracy Arm. While I have been there and it was nice, would much rather see Hubbard again...
