Yay weekend is here!!

Kat love that pic of CSis!! She is enjoying her cruise!! That is what it is all about!!

Moiraine been to Barbados awhile back don't remember the name of the beach we visited....But there are really nice beaches there. I vote for forget the tours and make it a relaxing beach day!!

My navigation is still messed up but I figured I could click on the post and get here - and here I am!

Moiraine, so glad you got someone to take your cousins place. It is a shame she wasn't able to travel with you. We did the submarine thing in Barbados but remember there were some pretty nice beaches. Barbados has a pretty decent tourism website. I think you can do a search on "Barbados Beaches"

Happy Sangria Saturday. Up early 'cause there is work to do. The contractor will be here soon to finish laying the flow in the bath. I have priming and painting to do in the basement. Ah the joys of home ownership.

When I was a kid my parents lived in a 4 floor apartment building without an elevator .We lived on the top floor . Forty years later I bought my first home .I loved it .

Yes, TM. They were good. They were falling apart tender. I made rice and fried pumpkin to go with.

I never heard of fried pumpkin ,Moraine .Is this a southern dish ?

I suppose it is, Lakers. It's really good with fresh pumpkin, which I didn't have. Canned works pretty good. I use about a tablespoon of butter and season with cinnamon and brown sugar to taste.

Hi all. I'm been having issues with the site for a couple of weeks. I tried changing bowsers but still no luck. The site was down this morning and now it seems to be working right again. So helpfully it's fixed now. We are having another sunny day here I love California weather.

It's to see posts from CQ and Kat.

We had a sunny morning and a rainy afternoon. But it's quite warm with the temps in the mid eighties.

How's everyone doing today. We are having sun again. It's hard to believe it's October. We were suppose to get rain on the weekend but that didn't happen. This is great for my tomatoes and pepper, normally the plants would be done by now. But they are still going strong. My MIL gave me zuchini (sp?) I might have to make some bread.

Have a great tequilla tuesday.
