Happy Tequila Thursday!

Big hole in the backyard, the plan today, waterproof the wall, install/repair foundation drainage, fill with pea gravel, fill the hole, grade the yard, seed and fertilize all the disturbed areas. Oh yeah, and the bathroom remodel continues. It is an exciting time to be in our house.

Happy Thursday gang.

I broke myself yesterday. I was doing Zumba and I hurt my hip. So I'm walking like an old lady today. I'm sure a Tequila will help.

We have sun today we are expecting a high of 86 so cool then last week. The whole camping trip even at night I never wore long pants or a jacket. The only way we can tell winter is coming is the days are shorter.

Bob good luck with the remodel. I'm jealous I would love to remodel the bathroom. I've always wanted a jacuzzi tub. But now I want a walk in jacuzzi tub.

My dream tub.

Or maybe this one.

Kat, feel better. That jacuzzi tub would feel good. I have seen those types of tubs and worry they take too long to fill and warm up, and then drain. Nothing so elaborate in our house. I'll post pictures when all is done. Thee outdoor work is complete. Monday we will get the symphony of jackhammers.

Hey Gang. I left in the middle of the night after a call. Usually a middle of the night call means bad news. This time it was good news...my niece had gone into labor. We have a new member of the family. My brother is tickled pink to be a Papaw to new baby Kate.

Tomorrow I am looking forward to a dinner at our local Portuguese Club. They are serving my favorite meal ( Portuguese boiled dinner ).

Then on monday we fly to CT.

Kat Glad to hear you hips are better.....what does Shikera say...oh yeah....Hips don't lie...

Moiraine congrats on the new baby in the family!! Babies are cute and fun!

Bob remodeling the house is always fun especially when it's all done.

So I read some stuff on another site regarding Carnival cruises.....The Major complaints were....no more pool band just DJ, food and service went downhill, lines at buffet are super long and everywhere else the ship is not designed well to carry all those passengers, and pools are not big enough for the amount of passengers.
Oh and what does 2.0 mean???

I'm looking at the Magic as a possibility. But I'm also now looking at NCL Gem it's a 9 niter and no airfare needed......

decisions decisions......so many ships so little time....

Good Morning Gang,

No workmen today - just us. We were cool and clear here and had a frost advisory last night. A friend in Wisconsin posted on FB that there was snow an hour north of her.

Moiraine - congrats on the family expansion. Your family was ready for some good news.
Kat - glad you are feeling better.

CQ - FunShip 2.0 is Carny's latest set of upgrades, burgers by Guy Fiori, George Lopez picking the talent for the comedy club, big screens pool side on all ships and a few other things like that. No real structural changes to the ships as they very from class too class. The buffet lines can be a little long but the MDR is open for brunch on sea days and usually open for breakfast on shore days. I've actually never been on the pool on the ship so can't comment there, but have never really felt the ship crowded except with they chew up a good stretch of the promenade for photos.

Today is almost over. It was a nice one for my DW and I.

We leave for CT. tomorrow, but it's a late flight, So I will be able to do a morning post.

I am not taking my lap-top to Ct. because we will be quite bus and I won't have much time to be on a computer.
