I think the dresses would be fine on formal night. The celebrity web site provides the following as appropriate on formal nights - Cocktail dress, gown or dressy pantsuit. I am going with my Mom on a cruise next month and we both like to dress up - so I have pretty dressy clothes since I normally don't get to dressup. I found a great formal on sale yesterday, marked down 70%! It's a very nice maroon color. I tried it on for my husband and he wanted to know if I was attending a ball while on the cruise! I like it and plan on wearing it and enjoying myself. It's not like my husband and I go anywhere together to dress up. He's staying home with my daughter so my Mom and I can go together on the cruise.
Katlady, I got the dress at a local store, BonTon. It's that time of year they are trying to get rid of the winter clothes, I mean it is January! They have dresses and a lot of their clothes on sale at 70%. My new suitcase came in the mail today - it's a Delsey, bright red, and one of those light weight ones. I checked it, and it's around 8 pounds - so I can pack 42 pounds of clothes and other important items! I have a month to go and am getting very excited!
