Morning Mates, Monday again and not too happy it is here... This will be a 4-day week for me, Fri. is another "in-service" day, no school. It is also my last week at that school as I am transferred as of next Monday. Not too happy about that either, but that is life...
Meanwhile, how about a happy picture for the day? Griffin is now 16 weeks old, or 4 months, and as my sister says, "no less freaking cute"!
Good morning Donna and all of our friends to follow. Donna, look at the transfer as an "adventure" and perhaps that will make the change more bearable.
Here, the weather is the same as it has been for a week and I go to the cardiologist after I get off from work this afternoon. Just a routine checkup to make certain my heart stent is in good shape.
Have a most glorious day friends!

It is a cold start to the day but the sun is shining with temps to hit the 50's later on. Rain is coming with the weatherheads saying we might see some of that white stuff too! Today is a morning of office work for me. This afternoon we will head to Cincinnati where D/H has a square dance to call this evening. We are hoping to hit a few stores on the way as we are still looking for a bigger TV since D/H had no luck on Black Friday.
RD, that Griffin is just so darn cute! Good luck with the job transfer, I know it is not what you wanted but maybe it will be for the better.
Mehawk, Hope you get a good report at the Dr. office.
Everyone have a great Cyber Monday!
Not too much to report today. It's a clear and cool day here in Lake Country with temps in the teens. Gee: I guess it's Winter. Today is a shopping day and fashion show day. Betty will buy a few new things for the Asian cruise and also try some of her older stuff on to see if it fits. I have to tell her the truth about how it looks. Me: I'm just wearing the stuff I already have.
Sue: I wish I had any rhythm so I could dance. I look like a lumbering gorilla on the dance floor.
Michael: Those stents usually don't go anywhere after awhile so you should get a clean bill.
Donna: Griffin is a cute boy. Just don't forget about Emma.
I wish everyone a great Monday and a wonderful rest of the week.
Take care,
Mike

Hi Kids, Bright & shiny here, before we get some white stuff tomorrow into Weds...ugh...!! I have a Drs. appt and some errands to run, as well.
I cyber shopped a bit, to get that "must have" kids gift, or so I was told...Stuffies. I bought a girls and a boys, and scratched them off the list. I've been making the girls, jewlery too...that sideways cross bracelet is a hit,I am beading away. I'd rather shop online, but, will venture into a few, close stores soon.
Donna, I understand your feelings. I hate change like that too...hopefully it will be a great change.
Make it a good one.

Donna, I'm sorry about the transfer. I hope it won't suck too badly.
Well, I'm back from a great visit with the family. Had a wonderful time.
I've got started on the shopping. It's all been cyber so far. I've got to go to the pharmacy today so I may venture some actual in store stuff while I'm out. Hoo boy.
Good afternoon! It's sunny outside albeit a bit cool and it's dipped into the upper twenties over a couple of days with more such low temps in the forecast near the end of the week.
Donna, Griggin is growing by leaps and bounds! Of course you know I also absolutely adore Emma. Also, while you may be dreading the transfer, the students are probably going to be as happy as they ever will be throughout their education!
Michael, please watch that ticker! Remember you're no longer "retired," especially as an LEO.
Sue, if you and Homer are going to Cincy, please please keep an eye on the weather!
Sounds as if you're a busy beaver, Trip! Hope you are feeling okay and that Bruce is doing well also.
Judy, hope you'uns have a great time in Phoenix!
Luanne, sounds as if you're getting into the "spirit." Love you!
Sharon, if you actually are almost done with your holiday shopping, boy are you going to be the envy of a whole lot of folks!
Moiraine, I have yet to gain the energy to go shopping! Maybe it shan't return and I'll get off cheaply! Yeah, right!
