Hand-held garment steamer

I was wondering if I could bring a hand -held steamer onboard.

yes. There are also self service laundry rooms with irons and ironing boards.

You can bring it, but we just went down to the laundry room and used the iron and ironing board. HOWEVER, apparently the iron had been dropped a few times, so it leaked. This would ruin some silks and satin and several other evening fabrics.

I packed my formal gowns in a garment bag. Each dress was on a hanger, with a plastic dry cleaning bag over it. I took one pant hanger and looped the bottom of the dresses through it so they would fit in the garment bag. After 11 hours in the garment bag, which was at the bottom of the pile on the luggage dolly, my dresses were not wrinkled.

we have used Downey Wrinkle Release on our last 2 cruises. My wife likes it so much she now uses it at home .....I now have sole custody of our iron

We have also had great success using dry cleaning bags when we pack. We now do both . The Wrinkle Release helps with any of the creases caused by folding.
