Default I am coming back to Carnival....

Just wanted to pop in and say I was coming back. Even if you don't want me to. lol. Anyway, after my last 2 cruises were on Royal Caribbean, my next cruise will be on the Carnival Liberty. It's not because I didn't like RCI. I has a wonderful time on both of my cruises with them. Freedom of the Seas was awesome. But we are going with a group, and Carnival offered a wider variety of itineraries of which we found several we liked more. So we are doing an Eastern Caribbean on Liberty.

So, having only cruised on Esctasy and Carnival Pride in the past, let me know what to except with Liberty. I LOVED the Pride. Great ship. Great layout, and I loved the pools. The aft pool was my favorite place to hang out. What can I expect different with Liberty? Thanks for any help.

welcome back....

one thing that has changed recently is the dining room menu. They have added some great new selections for dinner.

I have never sailed on the Liberty, but I don't think it has the open aft deck like the Pride does. I believe they have the aft decks that have the retractable roof in case it rains.

Coming back, eh? Yes, Carnival is cooler. 8)

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.

It's been a while since I sailed the Pride, but the Liberty does have a very nice aft pool area, and yes, it does have a retractable roof. I only saw that roof closed for about 30 minutes the entire 8 day cruise we took aboard Libety, so it's usually open, and very nice. You'll really enjoy Liberty. I too got away from Carnival for a number of years, but have sailed the line 8 times in the last two years, and have 2 more booked for later this year. Obviously, we like the changes Carnival has made recently.....

See you aboard,

Marine, Pilot, Singer, Tuba Player, Carnival "Diamond"!
