Another clothing question

We had to change our travel plans abruptly and decided to go on a cruise. We leave on the 29th from San Juan on RCCL for 11 days. I have done a lot of research and never expected that clothing would be such a concern. I have it figured out for the formal and smart casual nights, but my question is what is appropriate attire for teens ( 2 11 year olds) for casual dining? They also mention that kids eat together on some nights. Does anyone know how often this is? Last question- are you preassigned to different dining rooms or do you make reservations? Because we only booked last week, we haven't gotten anything from the cruise line that could answer these questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My 12 & 15 year old wore capris or mini skirts with cute tops. Everything was mix & match.

You will be assigned to the same table each night and for the same time frame. Your kids should wear the same types of clothes an adult would. Just no shorts, T-shirts or tanks. Nice slacks and nice shirt would be OK for casual nights if you are tqalking about the main dining room. If it's buffet - nearly anything goes (no swim suits!)

Shorts and T shirts are fine for the dining room during the day, just not at night for dinner. Same for the Windjammer although you can get away with bathing suit coverups if the suits are dry.
