Default cruising between hanoi and ho shi minh
I am looking for suggestion for a luxury cruise between Hanoi and Ho shi Minh/ Singapore.

any suggestion? it would be for april 2012.

Don't know about April but Azamara has a wonderful itinerary Hong Kong to Singapore stopping at both Hanoi and Saigon enroute Singapore. We did almost identical itinerary on Regent Seven Seas Mariner in 2005 and loved it.

In December of 2012 my wife and I will be sailing on Celebrity Millennium. It is an excellent itinerary from Singapore to Hong Kong with overnight port stays in/near Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. It is also reasonably priced.

I would also like to visit Asia in the next few years...

Mike I would join you but that itinerary seems very Viet Nam-centric.
Yours look like the Dec 9 - Singapore; Bangkok/laemchabang,thailand; Ho Chi Minh(Phu My), Vietnam; Hue/Danang(Chan May),Vietnam; Hanoi (Halong Bay),Vietnam; Hong Kong, China.

I am looking to see more - Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, - like the April 11, 2013: Hong Kong, China; Taipei(Keelung),Taiwan; Nagasaki, Japan; Busan, South Korea; Jeju Island, South Korea; Tianjin, China; Shanghai (Baoshan), China

The prices are GREAT, though. $1499 (inside) or $2399 (veranda)
