best place for backpackers??

hi
we are planing to spend 3 weeks in philippines and would like to know the most popular backpackers destinations couldnt find any info. on the internet so any suggestions would help a lot...we are going to be there 15-20 jan. 2009 and want to spend some time on the beach..what will be the weather like (compare to thailand or malaysia)

Philippines is the best place to go to for it's overwhelming beauty.

Backpackers and anyone who would want to visit the Philippines, I would suggest you consider going to Camarines Sur. This is one great place for a summer getaway!

Backpacking is the one that runs in my blood.....I am a keen backpacker and mostly every year i visit new destinations all around the world.....Philippines is a spectacular destination and i will recommend my personal favorite places "Bohol and Amazing Coron",to all the backpackers...
