Hi, I was just wondering what the alcohol age restrictions were on Alaskan cruises... I have been on other cruises before where 18-20 year olds can order beer, but not liquor. These cruises, however, were in international waters. I'll be a hair shy of 21 on my next cruise, and was just wondering if this would be a hassle or not.
Also, what is the general age group of people on board? Is it safe to say that it is pretty much an older crowd??
The drinking age in Alaska is 21 and the cruise lines use that as the rule.
Many of the people on the cruise will be older, but all the cruise lines have programs for teens. It used to be that everybody who came up here was older, but now we see a pretty good age mix.
